Questions clinics ask us

Something else on your mind? Write to support@orvantamed.com and we will reply within one business day.

How long does delivery to Central America take?

Sea freight from US East Coast ports to Central American ports takes 5–10 days, and compact equipment can fly in within 1–3 days. A complete MRI project takes 3–5 months on average, mostly because of room preparation and shielding.

How is a refurbished system different from a new one?

A refurbished system is taken apart, worn parts are replaced and it passes factory tests. Image quality meets the manufacturer's specification, and it costs 30–50% less than an equivalent new unit.

Who handles customs and registration?

We do. We clear customs in your country, handle duties and taxes, and support registration of the device with the national health authority.

Do you install the equipment and train our staff?

Yes. Our engineers install and calibrate the system, run acceptance tests on phantoms and train your technologists and doctors.

Can you service equipment we bought elsewhere?

Yes. We take on MRI, CT, X-ray and ultrasound systems from other suppliers after an initial inspection.

Can we lease the equipment?

Yes, we work with leasing companies. We prepare a quote and a payment schedule to fit your budget.
